What Does The Gospel Say That I Must Do To Be Saved?

We Must Hear, Believe, Repent, Confess, Be Baptized, & Remain Faithful!

HEAR Rom 10:14-17 Luke 6:46-49

We must "Hear" the word to believe it. Hearing the Word builds a strong foundation of faith.

BELIEVE Mark 16:16, James 2:24

Followers and believers of Christ

REPENT Acts 2:38,17:30, 26:20

We must repent and turn away from all sin in order to receive forgiveness..

CONFESS 1 Tim 6:12

We must "confess" that Jesus IS the Son of God when we are baptized.

BAPTISM 1 Pet 3:21

One must be baptized to be saved & receive grace, which is the forgiveness of sins and the continuous washing of sin by the blood of Christ.

REMAIN FAITHFUL Heb 10:26,27

We must not go on sinning deliberately. It is possible to walk away from the Grace that was freely given, but it can be abandoned by sin.
